ネット界隈でハッカーが発売しているらしいです。しかも$500で。欲しいけど・・・(笑)

A ‘low, low’ price of $500 ensures plenty of sales. "

Bootcamp祭り二日目でアップルは株価も上昇。(笑)

Loop Rumors!によるとこっそり発表されたfirmwareアップデートでBIOSとEFIがサポートされるのでvistaも稼働する可能性があるそうです。ますます面白くなってきました。

Not only did Apple give us a Birthday surprise by offering a free download of Boot Camp, but they also made new firmware available to the Intel Macs. The new firmware allows for EFI with BIOS support, which should allow Apple's new MacIntels to boot Microsoft's upcoming operating system, Vista, natively.

これはマジでびっくり。さっそくダウンロードしたので近いうちに試してみます。これでLeopardもintel pc向けに販売してくれるとありがたいんだけど。(笑)凄い祭りになってます。何が凄いかというとマック用のドライバが全部揃ってること。やってみるのが楽しみ。どうなんでしょうね。

2006年4月5日、アップルは本日、IntelベースのMacでWindows XPの利用を可能にする「Boot Camp（ブートキャンプ）」のパブリックベータソフトウェアを発表しました。Microsoft Windows XPのインストールディスクを持っているユーザは、本日よりダウンロード提供されるBoot Campを使って、IntelベースのMac® にWindows XPをインストールできるようになります。インスールが完了すると、ユーザはコンピュータを再起動してMac OS® XまたはWindows XPのいずれかを立ち上げることができるようになります。Boot Campは、8月に開催されるアップルのWorldwide Developers Conference（ワールドワイドデベロッパカンファレンス）でプレビューされるMac OS Xの次期メジャーリリース、「Leopard（レパード）」の一機能となる予定です。
